Well I've been talking to my friend in Cali, I have decided to do a chopper. I'm headed to training soon and as soon as I get into training and get settled I'm ordering my rolling frame and having him powerdercoat it and send the tins off to paint and my friend Akira in Japan. here are a few pics of what my first purchase will be.

The paint sceme I have decided on is a Deep Gloss Red on the frame, and matte black on the tins with red pinstripping done by AFGMoto in Japan, with a custom design on the rear fender. As far as the engine and such I have yet decided what kind or what size I want. Well enjoy I hope to throw some pictures of my own up soon.

Army Drill Sergeant

Well I went to go run with my recruiter yesterday, and while I was on the way to the track I got to thinking...

After I go to AIRBORNE School, I would have done everything in the Army that I wanted to do... All within the first 6 months...

Of course there's other things I want to do and expirience like getting my civilian education, getting deployed, breaking down somebodies door and throwing a grenade in there... hahaha, but as far as long term goals (schools) that was it, I'm not really qualified to do Ranger or Sapper, and I don't really care to do Air Assault...

BUT it came to mind to be an Army Drill Sergeant... I had wanted to be an Air Force Training Instructor but I lost motivation and never really got to the rank to be one...

So I got online and asked some questions and found out that after I make Sergeant (E-5) which I'll be shooting to get it within 6 months after my training. So after a year in the Army I can shoot to be a Drill Sergeant, which isn't to hard I heard, the school is tough, they do alot of crazy PT, but all in all I think it will be a great expirience, I will learn alot about how to lead and motivate young people. Which I think will help me out alot with teaching when I get to Japan. I'm really looking forward to it, but I want to learn a bit about the army get a deployment to Iraq, and maybe when I get back from Iraq shoot to try and be a Drill sergeant hopefully if all works out.

AIRBORNE School!!!

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

Talked to the Recruiter today!!! I'm going to AIRBORNE School at Fort Benning Georgia for 3 weeks after my AIT (MP School).

I'm soooo excited this is the stuff I wanted to do when I got in the Air Force, but because of stupid people... I never had the chance!!!

The Recruiter told me that he will put it in my contract that I go to AIRBORNE School directly after AIT. From there I'm not sure where I will go still, most likely I'll be attatched to an Airborne unit, but still I can be put anywhere!!!

AIRBORNE School at Fort Benning consists of 3 weeks of training:
Ground Week
Tower Week
and Jump Week

Army Update!!! Good News!!!!

HEY, went to the recruiter today everything is good but I'm somewhat screwed... my bodyfat% is crazy, my body weight proportion to my height is fine, but my neck is not so big so it's screwing up all the measurements I'm "supposed" to have. So i'm having to fast and workout and wear a sauna belt to drop 3 freaking inches off of my waist!!!

But besides all of that the recruiter is looking for me a date to go to MEPs and he hopes to have me in soon.

Good news though... I'll be shooting for Sergeant (E-5) once I go in!!! Which is pretty kick booty!!! The cool thing I like better than the Air Force is that once you hit E-5 and E-6... you'll still be doing your job hahahaha not like the air force where you can guarantee pushing papers for now on!!

Also I'll probably be deployed 4-5 months after my AIT (MP School).

I'm really looking forward to being deployed this time due to I'll actually be doing a job rather than sitting around playing on the internet!!!

Military Police Update

Well I went to the recruiter Monday. Everything is good to go, I just have to lose just a bit more weight and I'll be gold. Once I do that then about 2-3 days later I can go sign up at MEPs, and then about a week or 2 after that I can fly out to start my training at New Mexico and Fort Leonard Wood. 4 weeks in New Mexico and 4 months at Fort Leonard Wood.

Never Meant for Me to Lose

Talking to my dad last night about a lot of stuff, really about the military and my ministry that I would like to do.

We got to talking about my time in the air force, and how much of a pain that was.

While in the Air force I had one thing straight… being nice to my enemies… all the garbage I went through at work I still kept a smile on my face and did what I was told…

On the other hand after work my priorities were all messed up… because of the stress at work I really did NOT want to do anything but just sit at home and rest…

BUT there was just one thing that gave me almost a complete glimpse into the future… and that was my trip to Hokkaido…

Near Tokyo everybody has seen and knows about Americans… If you see an American then you know he’s probably in the military… However Hokkaido on the other hand was completely different. They were utterly interested in me and hearing stories and just wondering who I am as a person.

This really gave me an idea of what my time will be like “after” the military.

I have a mind that does 1000 mph, my mind always changes and I always want to do new things. BUT there is just one thing that has never left me… and that is my love of the Japanese people… and the want to do a ministry in Japan in the form of an English class…

Lately I have realized and my dad has told me and along with my wife, is that to be able to hear what God wants… sometimes you have to stop….. hence why I think I got out of the Air Force, because of the stress and the job that I had I couldn’t really hear what God really wanted me to do. Now that I’m out and I have time to sit and listen I know NOW that God wants me back in Japan “after” sometime to grow and get my education. I truly believe he wants me to teach English due to that’s really the only job open to non Japanese citizens…

Now I’m going back into the Army, my wife and I know exactly what we need to do to make this time right. We know now exactly what our goal is…

Sometimes I don’t know if going into the Army is a punishment for not listening to God when I should so I’m having to deal with 4-8 more years of the military… or is this where my family and I will actually be comfortable and for me to finally get the education and training that I need?

My friend here put it best I think:
He told me that my ministry is going to go further than 1 English class a week, 3 times a month… He said for one when you go teach your junior high school and high school students, they are going to see you as someone who has been in the Air force for 4 years. Gotten out and joined the Army, became a cop, spent years as a cop spent a lot of time in Iraq, has actually fought a war, fired a weapon at people, Plus you’re an American who can speak Japanese, AND you’ll be showing them the love and kindness of Jesus… That is what is going to make the difference, you’ll be doing ministry every single day you go to school to teach, the English class is only to refine what you have shown to your students…

I feel my 4 years in Japan was to give me an overwhelming love and failure towards the Japanese people. I feel as if I failed the whole country that I couldn’t and didn’t have the time to tell people about the love of Jesus… Which is now why I have a burning to go back.

Army MP no more Navy!!!

Well I'm signed up to go to the Army!!

Navy guy didn't have anything good to offer.

First I would have to go through basic training again, I'll lose my rank from E-4 to E-2... And no possibility to go overseas my first 4 years... Also moving up in rank is difficult.... SO!!!! I am NOT going to the Navy...

BUT the Army offered alot... Only 4 weeks transition training in New Mexico, 4 months AIT at Fort LeonardWood, which I will be concidered permenant party and get to stay in billiting, I may or may not have a room mate for the time I'm there. I can also go anywhere I want when I get out... that is army needs are first. ALSO a 10,000 dollar signing bonus.................

I'll be going hopefully after this month, I can't go this month I have to get some affairs in order and get all of my household goods together and such.

How to Make Ballistics Gel

1st Recipe
Take 1 part pectin powder (same store aisle as gelatin)
then take 1 part gelatin powder
take 3 parts boiling water (double boiler recommended)
Stir until dissolved.
Add color if desired
A few drops of oil of wintergreen (from baking supply store) can be used as a preservative.

2nd Recipe
Start with 20 grams gelatin powder
add 12 cc distilled water
then mix with 100 cc glycerin (sometimes available at drugstores, first-aid isle)
Let the mixture soak for about 45 minutes, then heat to 140 degrees in a double
boiler, and pour into Ziploc bags and lay flat to cool. (Add color if needed)
add oil of wintergreen works as a preservative here too.

Shooting Day, and Future Deployment!

Well I went shooting the other day, to finally try out my new sight, and my wolf ammo.

First of all the Ammo was awesome it shot great, I put 60rnds through it, and it actually burned very clean. It was a heavier grain that what I used before and it seemed to have alot more velocity. I couldn't very well check the accuracy due to my sight was a PIECE OF CRAP!!!!! That POS sight was garbage, I ripped it off but I left my iron sights at home blahhhhhh so I just wasted 60 rounds without really doing anything constructive.

On the other hand I FINALLY get my household goods from japan on wednesday. So I'll have a good camera to take pics with, and Japanese food along with it hahahahaha

Tuesday I should be able to talk to the recruiter to find out all my little questions and exactly when I'll be going to school.

Now that I've done all of this before I know exactly what to do differently. I KNOW I'll be deployed again so I'm planning on buying me a medium sized pelican case to keep a small flat screen tv, xbox, laptop, mp3 player, extra bdu's, tac gear, a new M4 upper, My camera, video camera, and other random stuff to maky my deployment better rather than taking 4 bags of stuff i'll take one.

I hope I'll actually start college soon after getting out of school through U of Maryland and get my major in English. Also soon after I get out of school my Mother in Law will be comeing to live with us which means I'll finally get to eat japanese food again hahahahaha!!!!!

But also with this it will give me time to actually hopefully get a loan and get me a piece of land in Hokkaido, that will be a very nice post deployment purchase hahahaha!!!

Master At Arms!!!

Well talked to the recruiter, Air Force is not allowing anybody in till 2010....... so that answers my question what I should do about the air force.....

BUT the Navy also has a job I would like to do and tomorrow I'll be talking to the recruiter about how I can go in and he seems pretty excited about me going in.

I'm thinking about going in as a "Master At Arms" (MA) a Navy Police officer... The job is open but we have a few things to talk about.

First I have to go through Navy boot camp.... BLAHHHHHHH I don't want to do that again but oh well i'll do it anyways.... and I MAY lose my rank and be dropped from an E-4... to an E-2....... but that wasn't confirmed and probably won't happen.

But anyways tomorrow I'll will probably be going to the Navy hahahahahahahaha

Should I go Back???

I've been thinking about going back to the military. I want to go to college, AND take care for my mother in law, AND make money, AND many other things. BUT in the civilian life it's pretty difficult, plus civilian life sucks and it's getting boring. I need to kill some haji's or go run down some drug runners!!!

I've been thinking about going into as an Aerial Gunner, 1A7X1 career field. But from what I hear it's pretty over manned, but maybe I'll have a good chance of going back in... I hope so, it's the only thing other than OSI that I want to do in the Air Force!!!!

Being a Mercenary in Iraq is out, I just don't think I could do that job. However Aerial Gunner is something I have wanted to do for along time, PLUS I have a great chance of being sent back to Japan, if I get on the HH-60 Helo I'll probaby go to Okinawa.

I'm going to talk to the recruiter tomorrow to see what he can do to help me out, hopefully he'll tell me that I can go in realitively soon!! If so I'm going back to the Air Force.

Iraq Mercenary!!

I've thought very long and hard about going through a company such as Blackwater USA about doing Mercenary work in Iraq. It pays great money, it's exactly what I want to do, and the plus is I'm not attatched to the military. Question is could I be away from my wife and son for 6 months or more? In reality if I was to go and come back we could honestly pay for my college and buy a house... that's very tempting.

OR should I just shut up and go to Memphis!! I'm still going to Memphis, BUT now after I become a cop will increase my chances of being able to go through the Blackwater Academy and be sent to Iraq... choices choices.... hahahahaha

Hunger and Real Estate!

Also I've been looking at also MAYBE in the future buying a little bit of land in Japan maybe just half an acre (bout 2025 square meters) maybe even less. I was looking at Hokkaido because I want country!!! NO city!!! I would like to buy the land and then have my son be able to build on it when he gets older.

Stag M4 Upgrades aka "Haji Popper"

I made a couple of upgrades to my M4 Lately:
So far I have added a new tactical latch, but my roll pin went flying across the room and is now MIA so I'm waiting for a new one from SOGarmory.
I also added a cheap piece of crap red dot sight till I can upgrade to an EOTech.
New Fobus grip
3 new magazines with MagPul followers
4 MagPuls, makes it tons easier to get in and out of my vest!
I also added a #60 rubber washer to my extractor to help with extraction.
I hope to get my sbr soon so I can get a new barrel and transfer my upper to a 10.5"I'm not sure how much time it will take to do this.
I also added Samson rails and a verticle grip.
I also heard some iffy stuff about wolf ammo, so I bought 200 rounds, if it doesn't work oh well it's just 200 rounds, if it's good stuff then I'll be investing in a box of this stuff.

Quick BIO..... Boring!!!

Wow so yeah... it's now 01:04 now... I'm pretty bored, but here goes my first official blog..
So I've been thinking about what am I going to do for the future...

I'm really confused, I was a graphic designer in the Air Force for 4 years and I hated it. I really hated being behind a desk for all that time and I was never allowed to do anything that was the slightest bit of fun.... BUT on the other hand I was sent to Japan... I LOVED Japan, I spent most of my time moving around to different places and never a place that I could call "home".

When I went to Japan it was so comfortable, I have never felt at so much peace than when I would step foot out of my door and just walk the streets, my mind was never so clear, and I have never felt that much love for a race of people in my life!

My first couple of years was great a little rocky from other affairs that were going on in the states but for the most part my first couple of years were the greatest I had in Japan many of which I look back on now and I REALLY miss!!

I had a great friend whom we would go up to the mountains of all times of the day and night regardless if we had work or an excercise the next day and we would race and drive for hours. Explore new roads and get lost without a care!!

My friend and I later met our wives during one of those nights, after coming home about 1 in the morning from the mountains of Okutama, he and I pulled into the Round 1 parking lot. also in the same parking lot was a 7/11. And there were these two beautiful girls sitting together in a minivan type car. So my friend and I made dibs on who we wanted to talk to hahahaha I got the passenger and he got the driver hahahaha

It ended up being a great choice since we ended up marrying the same girls we picked.

My fun time came crashing down as my time in the military pushed forward. I got deployed to Iraq exactly 1 month after I got married. While in Iraq I worked closely with combat camera and saw alot of terrible things. At the time you don't think about it, you just do your job, but afterwards when you return home those images are burned into your head, and then your mind starts to think even deeper about families and children and such. Don't get me wrong I'll go to Iraq if they call me again, I will go in a minute and I have even looked into Personal Security Agencies TO GO BACK. But on the other hand I don't think my wife would approve HA!!!

After returning from Iraq I had terrible managment in my office that I worked at which added to stress, also my career field was fading away which made upper management even worse, and all I wanted to do was just LEAVE!! I did NOT want to work for the military anymore.

My mother in law got cancer, so I had to move off base so that my wife could be close to her to help take care of her. The supervisors did NOT approve of that! So that added stress.

It's mentally painful when you live in a very beautiful place but you can't enjoy it because you know you're going against your management to live there, and you know in 8 hours you have to go deal with them again.

Not only that, when you think you lost your best friend and the only person that you were even a little bit close with while over in a foreign country, the only person you ever hung out with! All because of simple stupid things, and once again management at work!

I truley believe I left Japan a broken and torn man, I dont' think my mind nor my body has been that badly beaten before.

But things are looking up!

I really want to go into Law Enforcement and continue my education.

So far I'm going to Memphis to test to make the November Police Academy. That in itself is a blessing! usualy the process takes 6 months from start to finish THEN the Academy which is another 6 months. Memphis is also home to a very large Methodist church that does ALOT of outreach, and from what my dad tells me I could get alot of certifications in numerous areas of christian ministries.

I have hopes of going back to Japan and teaching at a private Junior High or High School and in my free time teaching at home Christian Conversational English, with alot of outdoor activities i.e. hiking, climbing, camping, trips, many different outreach things. I get really excited when I think about it because I really really want to do this.

I've done some studying and asking alot of questions and next year I hope to start my online degree and majoring in English and minoring in Speech Communications and once I graduate I should be very close to getting back to Japan!!!!!

Once I get to Japan and I'm able to teach and do my ministry... I think I will have done everything in life that I have ever wanted to do...
